Medikro® SpiroSafe

Disposable Flow Transducer

The Medikro® SpiroSafe flow transducer is a disposable pneumotachometer. With SpiroSafe it is possible to dispense with bacterial filters, sterilization or additional cardboard mouthpieces, thus increasing the number of patients examined and saving intervention costs. Each flow transducer is individually checked for accuracy.

SpiroSafe is designed to increase safety by preventing
cross-contamination between patients. SpiroSafe helps
protect the environment as it generates 78% less waste than regular bacterial filters. Medikro disposable flow transducers are made of polyethylene and can be disposed of by incineration without producing toxic emissions.

Twist-to-Connect System Easy to use

Medikro Twist-to-Connect makes connecting and disconnecting SpiroSafe flow transducers quick and easy.

No filters, no sterilization

Patient Safety

SpiroSafe disposable flow transducers provide safe infection control. Exhaled air does not enter the pressure tubing or the device, preventing cross-contamination between patients and protecting the spirometer.

VCT Technology

Vibration Control Tubing (VCT) cancels out signal noise caused by patient and tube movement, thus stabilizing the signal and improving the overall quality of spirometry.

Profitable

Medikro SpiroSafe can be replaced in seconds. The entire system is immediately clean and ready for the next patient.

Ecological

SpiroSafe helps to protect the environment as it generates 78% less waste than regular bacterial filters. It is made of polyethylene and can be disposed of by incineration without producing toxic emissions.
